Eleanor Anna Redmond (nee Damianos), age 95. Late of Pismo Beach California, formerly of Hegewisch. Passed away February 27, 2021. Beloved wife of the late James. Loving mother of Susan (late Richard) Anderson, James (Jacqueline) Redmond, Margaret (Stephen) Whitehair, and Daniel (Donna) Redmond. Devoted grandmother of 13. Cherished great grandmother of many. Former employee of Spiegels, Carson’s and Hufford Furniture Company. Eleanor was a longtime former active parishioner of St. Columba Church, as a member of Altar and Rosary Society and a Girl Scout Leader. Memorial Visitation Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 12 noon until 3:00 pm at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Avenue Chicago. Memorial Service at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Private inurnment at St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Eleanor’s name to a charity of your choice would be preferred.
