Ronald V. O’Brien, late of St. John, IN, passed into the arms of the Lord on Thursday, February 11, 2021. He is survived by his daughters: Karen O’Brien and Kelly O’Brien; and sister Carol (O’Brien) Bean. He is preceded in death by his parents: Michael and Dorothy O’Brien; and brother Robert O’Brien. An Army veteran, Ronald was a retired banker and had worked for more than 30 years for the Continental Illinois National Bank and Trust Company. A true aficionado of old cars, Ronald regularly attended area car shows and was the founder of the annual South Holland Car Show. A devoted father, he enjoyed spending time with his daughters and son-in-law, Daniel Kozlowski. Private funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2021, followed by interment a Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 8178 Cline Ave. Schererville, IN.
