Mirko Loncar, age 66. Late of Vet’s Park, Chicago. Passed away on February 11, 2021. Beloved husband of Ankica (nee Radman) for 43 years. Loving father of Vesna (Tony) Marusic. Adored grandfather “Dida” of Iva and Ana Marusic. He is survived by his brother Bozo (Milka) Loncar, sister Ankica (Marko) Susak, brother-in-law of Zlata (Nikola) Bosnjak, and Dragica (Zvonko) Smukavich. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Mirko was an active parishioner of Sacred Heart Croatian Catholic Church and a member of the Croatian Hunting Club (“SRNA”). He loved traveling with his family to his treasured homeland of Hercegovina & Croatia. However, his greatest enjoyment was being alongside his wife as they spent time with their granddaughters. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and everyone who knew him. Visitation and Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 DIRECTLY at Sacred Heart Croatian Catholic Church (2864 E. 96th Street Chicago, IL.) from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. (Noon).
