Kowalski, age 80.  Late of St. John, Indiana formerly of the East Side of Chicago.  Passed away January 15, 2021.  Beloved husband of MaryEllen (nee Serpe) for 48 years.  Loving father of Nicole (Jerry McCall) and David (Tara) Kowalski.  Cherished grandfather of David and Daniel Kowalski.  Dearest brother of the late William Kowalski and Linda (Timothy) Jakubowski.  Dear brother-in-law of Robert (Ann Marie) Serpe.  Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Dave is preceded in death by his parents William and Hazel Kowalski.  Veteran of the U.S. Army.  Services for Dave will be held privately.  Arrangements entrusted to Elmwood Funeral Chapel, St. John.  For more information 219-365-3474.
