Gabriel M. Picazzo, age 89. Late of South Chicago. Passed away on December 31, 2020. Beloved husband of Evengelina Picazzo (nee Rodriguez). Loving father of Graciela Wade, Martha Picazzo, Gabriel A. (Maria “Licha”) Picazzo, John (Betty) Picazzo, Marco Picazzo, Sergio Picazzo, Martha Vinet and the late Aurora Luna Picazzo. Cherished grandfather of Ricardo Luna and Angelica Crystal Sandoval and devoted grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great grandfather to many. He is survived by siblings Juan Picazzo and Adela Benavides. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Gabriel was a veteran of U.S. Army (Korean War) and retired electrician from U.S. Steel. Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 2 p.m.-9 p.m.  Funeral Service Friday, January 8, 2021 at 9:15am from Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave., Chicago to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00am.  Cemetery Private.
