Jeannette M. McCollam (nee Sikora), age 87. Late of Crete, IL. Passed away on December 31, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Albert Specius and the late Gerald McCollam. Loving mother of Diane (Steve) Robinette and Jim (Kellie) Specius. Cherished grandmother of Nicole (Jon) O’Connor, Lauren (Connor) Leto, Jack and Will Specius. Adored great-grandmother of Rowan and Eloise. Stepmother to: Susan (Jim) Yant, Mary (George) Langheld, and Robert (Anne) McCollam. Step-grandmother to: Matthew, Joanna, Jessica, Sarah, Kathryn, Amanda, George, Peter, and Timothy. Step-great grandmother to Justus, Marlee, Jacob, Nate, Grace, Colm, Jimmy, Tommy, Emily and Riley. Survived by siblings Al (Carole) Sikora and Don Sikora. Fond aunt to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her sister: Dolly and brother: Bob. Jeannette will be remembered for her creativity and talent in crafting decorations for many family occasions. We have many fond memories of her hosting her annual Christmas parties. She enjoyed reading, listening to talk radio, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
