Jose (El Prieto) Luis Sanchez, age 75, resident of the South East Side of Chicago passed away on November 25, 2020 from cardiac arrest.  Beloved husband of Raquel (nee Granados) for 49 years.  Loving and caring father of Raquel (German) Angulo, Jose L (Martha) Sanchez Jr., Veronica (David) Sanchez-Buenrostro.  Devoted grandfather to Alisa, Anela, and German Jr.   Born in Sahuayo Michoacan, Mexico on March 16, 1945.  Loving son of Salvador Sanchez Villanueva and Juanita Chavez Galvez.  Beloved brother, uncle, and friend.  Jose was a former employee of Solo Cup Company with over 35 years of dedicated service.  Jose enjoyed traveling to Mexico and going to the flea market to socialize and collect and trade coins.  He liked to share stories and enjoyed discussing politics, soccer, and loved listening to music.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made by contacting his daughters Raquel or Veronica for address information.  Due to Covid restrictions, visitation for Jose will be held Wednesday December 2, 2020 strictly from 9am to 10 am, then privately for immediate household family at Elmwood Chapel 11200 S.
