Josephine Banuelos (nee Moreno) age 90. Formerly of Lake Station, In. and South Chicago. Passed away on November 24, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Jose. Loving mother of Delia Ochoa, Marguerite (Everado Cervantes) Banuelos, Rebecca (Michael Soria) Banuelos, Luis (Yolanda) Banuelos, and the late Arthur Banuelos. Devoted grandmother, great- grandmother, and great-great grandmother of many. Dearest sister of Alice Mora, Adelaide Moreno, and Henry Moreno. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Former teacher for the ESL. Visitation Saturday, November 28, 2020 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 3:30 p.m.  at the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago, IL. Private Inurnment at St. Mary Cemetery. Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, the visitation will be limited to only (10) people at any given time. All visitors entering the funeral home are required to wear a face mask and social distance. Due to the number of people who would like to pay their respects, we ask that you make your visit brief in order to allow all who would like to attend a chance to do so.
