Roma Cassidy

Passed away on November 17, 2020

Roma Cassidy passed away at the age of 89 on November 17, 2020 at the Park Place Senior Living Community in St. John.  Roma was born February 14th, 1931 in Oak Park, Illinois to Edward and Ethel Fiori.  

Roma attended the Art Institute of Chicago and graduated with a degree in Fine Arts.  She shared her passion for art with the East Chicago school district where she worked for many years as an Art teacher.  Later in life, Roma enjoyed traveling and walks in the park with her loving husband Robert. 

Roma is survived by her stepson, Scott (Linda) Cassidy and is preceded in death by her mother and father, Ethel and Edward Fiori, and her husband, Robert Cassidy.  She will be laid to rest at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Hammond, IN with a private service due to COVID-19 restrictions.
