Edmundo DeLeon Sr., “Eddie”, age 90, late of South Chicago passed away on November 17, 2020. Beloved husband of Angeline, “Angie” for 23 years. Loving father of Sylvia and Edmundo, Jr. Cherished grandfather of James (Tonya) Secrease, Robert (Missy) Secrease and Coty (Charles) Wilson. Adored great grandfather of Macie Fitzgerald, Hayle (Kevin) Day, Garrett Secrease, Lucas Secrease, Camdyn Wilson, Cadyn Wilson and Cohen Wilson. Dearest great great grandfather of Bentley Day. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Preceded in death by his parents; Melchor and Guadalupe DeLeon, sisters; Evangelina DeLeon Ureste, Arminta DeLeon Ochoa and Graciela Mendietta. U. S. Army Korean War Veteran. Member of Illiana American Legion Post # 1238, he loved to bowl and during his Army days was an avid boxer.
