Loving father of Clinton (Linda) Butts of Charlottesville, Virginia. Cherished grandfather of Trevor and Kaleb Butts of Charlottesville, Virginia. Dearest uncle of Kimberly (Andrew) Milan of Franklin, Tennessee. Dear brother of Mary Ann Currier of Noblesville, Indiana, Sydney Lamprecht of Crown Point, Indiana, Bill Grimm of Lafayette, Indiana, and James Butts of Crown Point, Indiana. Brother in law of John (late Phyllis) Schuljak. Charles was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a retired employee of Lever Brothers Co. Charles was an avid golfer and diehard fan of the University of Michigan football team. Private services were held for the family. Arrangements entrusted to Elmwood Funeral Chapel, St. John.
