Graciela Chavez, age 79, late of the East Side and formerly of Jalpa, Zacatecas, Mexico passed away on October 13, 2020. Beloved longtime companion of Rafael Gomez Gonzalez. Loving mother of Maria (Jaime) Robles and Maricela (Alvaro) Gomez. Devoted grandmother of Jaime (Diana) Robles, Idaima Robles, Angelica Robles, Karen (Diego) Jimenez, Alvaro Rafael Chavez, Anais Robles and Isaias Chavez. Cherished great-grandmother of Nicolas Jaime, Diego, Andres, Maritza and Sofia. Dear daughter of the late Pedro and late Maria de Jesus Chavez. Dearest sister of Raul (Elvira) Chavez, Juan Manuel (Maria de Jesus) Chavez, Silvia (Gino) Nossa, Librado (Rosa) Chavez, Irma (David) Guerrero, late Vicente (Evangelina) Chavez, late Aleja (late Ramiro) Salazar, late Antonia Chavez, late Pedro (Carmela) Chavez, Jr., late Maria de Jesus (Marcos) Munoz, late Maria Guadalupe (I.Isabel) Viramontes, late Avelina (late Guadalupe) Jaime and late Francelia (Jim) Noon. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Funeral Mass Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 9:30 am DIRECTLY at Immaculate Conception Church.  Per Covid protocal if you are attending the funeral mass, you must call the church directly to pre-register prior to Friday, October 23, 2020.  The church rectory phone number is 773-768-2100.  You will not be allowed to attend the funeral mass if you are not signed up ahead of time.  Masks are also required to attend.  For any further questions please call Elmwood Chapel at 773-731-2749
