Stanley E Kubiak

Passed away on September 15, 2020

Stanley Edward Kubiak (Stash, Junior) passed away in the presence of his family at home on September 15th 2020.  He grew up in South Chicago and married Joyce (Gawrys) Kubiak the love of his life.  They moved to the country and built a hobby farm and a family in Dyer, IN in 1967.    He leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Joyce and their favorite Assholes.  Timothy (Jodi) Kubiak, Robert (Sylvia) Kubiak, Edward (Kristan), Kubiak, Julie Kubiak and Janet (Gareth) Kubiak Edwards.  His legacy lives on with them and his 12 beloved grandchildren and one great grandson.  Stanley joins his parents, Josephine (Zurawski) Kubiak and Edward Stanley Kubiak, his brother Walter Kubiak, sisters Debbie Kubiak and Joyce Pawlak in heaven.  He also leaves behind two devoted sisters Sandra Kolliniatis and Kathy Peak and several loving nieces and nephews.  We will always remember him for making us work
 hard, providing for all of our wants and needs, letting us know it was okay to be an original thinker and permission to swim against the stream. He always made us feel like we were all his favorite, even though there was always a clear winner. We love you Dad.  Memorial Visitation Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 1:00 pm until time of service at 3:00 pm at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel 11300 W. 97^th LN. (1/2 block west of US 41/Wicker Ave. at 97^th LN.)
