Higinio C. Tabares, “Chuck”, age 82, late of Cedar Lake, IN and formerly of South Chicago passed away on September 15, 2020. Loving father of James Woodmansee, John (Jillian) Tabares, Chuck Tabares and Aaron Tabares. Devoted grandfather of James Dekezel, Eric Tabares, Andrew Tabares, Noa Tabares, Joel Prado, Juliana Prado, Dylan Tabares and Gabriel Tabares. Dear son of the late Juan and late Juliana Tabares. Higinio is also survived by brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and many dear friends. Retired employee of PVS Chemical. Visitation Sunday, September 20, 2020 from 1-8 p.m. Funeral Monday, September 21, 2020 at 9:15 a.m. from the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago, IL 60617 to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
