Visitation Information

Maria Teresa Amaro, age 69, late of South Deering, passed away September 10, 2020.  Dearest companion of the late Herbert Lioves.  Loving mother of Lisa Ponce, late Paulina (Jonathan) Brewer, Lori (Johnny)  Aguilera and Lilliana Amaro.  Cherished grandmother of many.  Adored sister of Virginia (Roy) Mendoza, Antonio (Jessica) Vasquez, Veronica (Cipriano) Villalobos, Sofia (Alfredo) Hernandez and Richard (Debra) Vasquez.  Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Maria Teresa worked in the Healthcare field for Uptown N.H.C. in Chicago for many years and was a former school bus driver for Art's Transportation.  She was avid Chicago Bears, Chicago Bulls, Chicago White Sox and Chicago Cubs fan, however, her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and friends.  A Memorial Visitation will be held Friday, September 25, 2020 from 2-8pm at Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S.
