Condolences
"Florez Family
I’ve known Joe since high school and he continued to be a very sweet friendly person. Before COVID I would see Joe at Zplanet Fitness and he always made it a point to say hello. May he Rest In Peace. I pray that you will find comfort during this difficult time."

"I have always thought of Joe his sister Vera, his brother Mickey and his Mother Lola as family. I thought of Lola as my second Mother, she gave me my first exposure to Mexican food, both eating and making it. I will forever cherish all those great growing
up memories. I'm so sad to have lost a part of my family, but I will never lose all those great family memories. I am sending my
condolences to all of Joe's family and to my sister Vera and her family. "

"I am saddened to hear of yet another of our South Deering lads passing on. Too many of these young men of our old neighborhood have departed with many "yesterdays", and not enough "tomorrows." While I knew Joe all my life, he was of a different age-group growing up. I knew his brother Mickey better, and his sister Vera I knew very well. As older teens, we would hang around at night in from of Santucci's candy store across from Bright School. I have vivid memories of Mickey and Joe running across the schoolyard to buy some candy or chips from the store. We would kid with them and, on occasion, toss them a nickle or a dime. Joe grew up to be a fine young man whom I am told was a pretty good ironworker and also a Vietnam veteran who served his country well. But, in my mind, I will always carry that visual of those two young boys running across the schoolyard. My wife Mary and I would like to extend our sincere condolences to his son, grandchildren, his sister Vera, and the rest of his extended family. Say "hello" to Mickey and the rest of our departed friends Joe...and may you rest in eternal peace."
