Loving father of Charles (Sara) Bessett and Michelle (late Loren) Ford Sr. Devoted grandfather of Kendell, Kevin, Michael, Loren Jr., Amber, Marcus, Donna Rose, Lauren and David.  Cherished great-great-grandfather of Octavius James Ford.  Dearest fiancée of Deborah Jackson Bills.  Dear brother of Bobby (Shirley) Bessett.  Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Veteran of U.S. Navy Vietnam War. Retired employee of Metra.  Visitation Wednesday from 2-9pm. Funeral service Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 10am at the Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S.
