Theresa M. Garcia (nee Garcia), age 53, late of Hammond, IN and formerly of Chicago, passed away July 27, 2020. Beloved mother of Vanessa Garcia, Stephanie Salcedo, Jazmine Cerda, Eddie Cerda Jr., Caressa Garcia and Anyssa Cerda.  Cherished grandmother of Giovony Garcia, Naomi Gonzalez, Christian Salcedo, Melanie Salcedo, Emanuel Salcedo, Julina Salcedo, Olivia Martinez, Leah Valencia, Noah Cerda, Jayden Medrano, Sophia Medrano, Avery Medrano and Brianna Medrano.  Loving fiancé of Carlos Villalobos.  Devoted daughter of Mary Perez and the late Rufino Garcia.  Dearest sister of Yolanda Flores, Frank Garcia, Christina Garcia, Rufino Garcia Jr., Lupe Tarasiewicz, Ramona Garcia and Rueban Garcia.  Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Visitation Friday 2-9pm. (Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, social distancing and attendance guidelines set forth by federal, state and local health departments will be followed.)  Funeral services Saturday, August 1, 2020  10:15am prayers from Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S.
