Keith Kustra

Passed away on July 25, 2020

Keith W. Kustra, age 67, beloved and treasured husband of Colleen for 37 years, passed away July 25, 2020. He was a loving father of Kathleen Kustra and Kyle (Jennae) Kustra; cherished grandfather of Kendall and Kieran Kustra; dear brother of Mark (Kathy) Kustra and Kenneth (Deb) Kustra; caring son-in-law of Ellen Erickson and the late Jules Erickson, and beloved son of the late Walter Kustra and the late Anna Marie Kustra.  Keith was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served his time in Minot, North Dakota.  Keith loved being outdoors. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed gardening and tending his bonsai trees. The happiest part of his day was perusing the yard and enjoying the beauty that nature bestows on us.  Please join us on Sunday, August 2nd from 1-5 pm in our backyard as we remember the good times that we shared with Keith.  9231 Marquette Street, St John, IN  46373

"Keith, you always had a joke and smile whenever I saw you. You always made me laugh and I always enjoyed the time we got to spend together. Thank you for making me feel loved and welcomed even though I was just your son’s sister-in-law. You will be missed and forever loved. I’m so happy I got to meet you and have you as a part of my family. Love, Dianne"

"My heart is saddened to hear this news and my condolences to Kyle, Katie, and Colleen. Growing up with Kyle some of my favorite times was watching Kyle and his dad argue and joke with one another as Keith drove us around Tulsa town at top speeds blaring jazz. I remember waking up Saturday mornings with Keith always watching HGTV and tending to his pond in the backyard. Keith, or as I knew him, Kyle’s dad, was always a joy to be around and all my love goes out to him and his family. His passing came too soon, but I know he left a lot of love behind. Sending all the love to the Kustra family. "
