Jeffrey A. “Jeff” Mize, age 57.  Late of Cedar Lake formerly of Lowell.  Passed away July 13, 2020.  Beloved husband of Georgianna “Georgie”.  Cherished son of Stanley and Mary Ellen Mize.  Loving dad of Kristin (Joseph) Gutierrez, Krystal (Larry) Tachik, and Greg Boatright.  Dearest grandfather of Madison, Julius, Manuel, Lilli, Lincoln, Lylah, Tyler, and Reagan.  Dear brother of Karen Arehart.  Jeff is also survived by his niece Chayse Arehart; father and mother- in-law Medwick and Diane Matlock; sister and brother – in – laws Grace (Lester) Blanton and Michele (David) Sickles; aunt Edna Hudacin; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  Dear friend of Bill W.  Jeff was graduate of Lowell High School.  Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  Longtime employee of Regional Mental Health – Recovery Matters.   Former past president and member of the Lake County Auto Traders Association.  Jeff loved to ride his motorcycle and spend time with his family.  Memorial visitation Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 10:00 am until time of service at 12:30 pm at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel 11300 W. 97th LN. (1/2 block west of US 41/Wicker Ave. at 97th LN.) St. John.  Inurnment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.  For more information 219-365-3474.
