Marcy E. Thomas (nee Balter).  Late of St. John, Indiana.  Passed away July 10, 2020.  Beloved mother of Rebecca Compton, Gregory Compton, Nathaniel (Dawn) Compton, and Joshua (Catherine) Thomas.  Cherished grandmother of Melissa (Nicholas) Trask, Jennifer (Shane) Franchick, Ashley Compton, Ryan Compton, Sarah Compton, Rain Bertotto, and Jade Collar.  Dearest great grandmother of 8.  Marcy was the former treasurer and longtime member of the AAUW and member of the Red Hats.  She was a proud beagle rescuer.  Memorial visitation Tuesday, July 14, 2020 from 4-8 pm at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel 11300 W. 97th LN. (1/2 block west of US 41/Wicker Ave. at 97th LN.) St. John.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions Houndsong Rescue preferred (www.houndsong.com).  For more information 219-365-3474.
