Lee Ann “Nanny” Unwin, age 73.  Late of East Hazel Crest, IL.  Passed away June 22, 2020.  Beloved wife of Tom for 56 years.  Loving mother of Laurie (Arthur) Krueger, Joseph (Maria Fé) Unwin, and Michelle (Danny) O’Nail.  Cherished grandmother of Arthur (Michelle) Krueger, Thomas (Katie) Krueger, Mark Unwin, Josephine Unwin, Kellie O’Nail, and Dillon O’Nail.  Dearest great grandmother of Tommy, Karlee, Jeremiah, De’Shawn, Walter, Sincerity, Savannah, and Louise.  Dear sister of Trudy (late Tom), Margie (Bob), James (Pat), Heleen (Rudy), Laura (Jim), Jerry, and Cindy and sister in law of Richard (Judy) and William (Peggy).  Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by her loving cats Amber, Tigger, and Spot.  Preceded in death by her beloved dog Sammy.  Lee Ann was a retired employee of Ft. Dearborn Life Insurance.  Nanny loved to sew, paint, craft, build miniature doll houses, and cook for her family.  Visitation Saturday, June 27, 2020 from 2:00 pm until time of service at 6:00 pm at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel – Cedar Lake 9931 Lincoln Plaza Way.  (1/2 block south of 133rd Ave. across from the library at Lincoln Plaza Way). For more information 219-374-9300.
