"Second cousin Gary - My parents (Martha & Don) thought the world of your family and you. Distance and careers kept “our generation” from being as close as our parents’, but I always enjoyed seeing you and your folks at our too-infrequent family gatherings. You would have enjoyed stomping thru the Tennessee woods with your dad and I A couple years back looking for - and finding - our great granddad’s grave. That was sooo cool. Your dad had been there before and insisted it was out there. Sure enough, we eventually found it. We also found The family’s log cabin near by. Even cooler. Way way cooler. Gary you were a good man and from what I’ve heard out here in California, a good husband, father and business partner. I trust you are in a better place. If you seem my mom, or yours up there, tell ‘em they’re missed. "
