Edward A. Boersma, “Eddie”, age 51.  Late of Cedar Lake, Indiana. Passed away June 12, 2020.  Loving father of Evan, Briley, and Ethan Boersma.  Devoted son of Edward and Margaret (nee Meyer) Boersma.  Cherished nephew of Margaret Plocharski, Marilyn (Brian) Starzak, John Meyer, late Thomas (Priscilla) Meyer and James (Josephine) Boersma.  Dearest brother of Sherry (John) Hall, Barbra (Shannon) Stooksbury, and Patricia (David) Bishop.  Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.  Eddie was a proud 34-year member of the Heat and Frost Insulators Union Local #17.  He loved to cook and spend time with his family boating in Wisconsin.  Visitation Wednesday, June 17, 2020 2-9 pm at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel 11300 W. 97th LN. (1/2 block west of US 41/Wicker Ave. at 97th LN.) St. John. If you are attending the visitation, the family is requiring that you wear a mask and practice social distancing while in the building.
