George H. Gossin, age 90, late of the East Side passed away on May 19, 2020. Beloved son of the late Alvina A. and late George Gossin. Loving brother of Sherry Geluso. Dear friend of Sergio (Maria) Gallegos as well as many cousins and other friends. U. S. Army Korean War Veteran. Retired employee of City of Chicago Water Reclamation Department with many years of dedicated service. George loved to bowl, golf, ride his bicycle and read. He will be missed by all who knew him. "I only met George a few days prior to his passing but what a lifetime of memories he shared in such a small amount of time. He made our nurses laugh and on their toes. He was quick with a joke and we were even touched to celebrate his 90th Birthday. And yes George, we will remember you and your job as a sanitation worker “every time we flush.” Rest In Peace kind soul. And thank you for touching our lives."
