Lori A. Stimac, age 60, late of Chicago, passed away suddenly, May 4, 2020. Beloved daughter of the late Joseph and late Katarina Stimac. Dearest sister of Mary Jo "Joni" (Anthony) Calcagni. Cherished aunt to Christopher Calcagni. Also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. She was in the travel business for many years and had traveled throughout the world. Lori was an originating member of the Croatian Hearts tamburitza combo. She was a member of Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge# 3055. The light of Lori's life was her nephew Christopher and their shared love of the Chicago Bears. Due to the current pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date. "Mary Jo and family, I was scrolling through the obituaries,today and so shocked to see your sister Lori's name. I remember her well as a Senior while we were Freshmen. My sister,Julie and sister in-law,Cindy Manick were Seniors with Lori at that time.As you know well, my sister,Patti died suddenly during our Senior year. A sister bond is like a vault:solid and secure everlasting. Though nobody can truly feel YOUR pain, and there surely are no words to take your pain away, just want you to know our thoughts and prayers are with you now and always for such a profound loss."

"Our sincerest condolences to you, Lori's family. Barbara worked with Lori years ago and they became friends. Lori was vivacious and so very proud of her nephew, Christopher, as well as her Croation heritage. They also bonded over the fun they had at the airlines.
