Passed away on March 20, 2020

Alfred Carlos Sanchez, 62, passed away peacefully early Friday morning, March 20, at his house surrounded by family. Carlos was a proud United States Marine Corps veteran and was greatly involved in numerous organizations. He loved carpentry, fishing, watching the Bears, and most importantly being surrounded by family and friends. Carlos will forever be loved by his children, Carlos Jr. (Karina) and Vanessa (Nick), stepchildren, Jessica (Dennis) and Eric, grandchildren, Lily, Jaden, and Connor, brothers Ernest, Peter, Trini (Natalie), and Phillip (Gaby), and countless nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Sacorra, his sister, Theresa, his sister-in-law Mary Joan, and Uncle Carl. 

Out of respect for the family, others in attendance, and the staff of the funeral home, please take into consideration restrictions put into place by the Center for Disease Control when attending; there will special instructions for those in attendance. If you are sick or feeling sick, please sign the online guest book and for everyone’s safety please stay home.  We also ask that any guests refrain from bringing any food products into our facilities.  This includes all self-service items like cookie trays, sandwich and deli trays, or prepackaged items.  Thank you for your consideration as we navigate these times together.  Visitation Monday, March 23, 2020 from 2-8 pm at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel 11300 W. 97th LN.
