John Kowal, age 75.  Late of the East Side.  Passed away March 5, 2020.  Beloved husband of Linda (nee Hecimovich) for 35 years.  Loving father of Matthew Kowal, Mary Sinn, Martin Douglas, Edward Douglas, and Kimberly Boreczky.  Cherished grandfather of many and great grandfather of Jeremy Long.  Dear brother of Frank, Terry, and the late Ray Kowal.  Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Veteran of the U.S. Army.  Visitation Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 4-7 pm.  Funeral Services Friday, March 13, 2020 at 10:30 am from the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago to St. Francis de Sales Church.  Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.  Please omit flowers.  For more information 773-731-2749
