Condolences
"We live in Arizona and will not be able to attend Frank’s Funeral services. We are so sorry to hear the news of Frank’s passing. He was our son, Robert’s Godfather. It comforts us to have been able to visit with Frank when we were visiting in September. Frank we will miss you dearly, the Lord chose to take you home and we will greatly miss you! We will look forward to the day we will reunite with you once again. Thank you so much for sharing the Gospel of Christ with Armando and I in the 70’s. The many times you drove us to church where we learned much about God’s Living Word. We learned about God and our Savior, Jesus Christ once we started reading the Bible. You had a big role in that and were very instrumental in our lives to bring us to the knowledge of God’s wonderful plan of Salvation through his one and only Son. Through Christ’s crucifixion, burial and resurrection and to realize that that our salvation comes from Christ alone. Christ himself said: “ I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John‬ ‭14:6‬ and it is written, in the book of Acts; “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."”Acts‬ ‭4:12‬ ‭ Frank, you shared so much of God’s word with us. From you we learned; “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of God.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:17‬ ‭ We will never forget you Frank and we know you would want to share these words of truth with those who are mourning for you Today. To the family, we mourn with you and pray for God’s peace and comfort in your hearts through your great loss. We would leave you with some wonderful words from scripture for your comfort. ‭‭I Thessalonians‬ ‭4:13-18‬ “Brothers and sisters, we want you to know about people who have died so that you won’t mourn like others who don’t have any hope. Since we believe that Jesus died and rose, so we also believe that God will bring with him those who have died in Jesus. What we are saying is a message from the Lord: we who are alive and still around at the Lord’s coming definitely won’t go ahead of those who have died. This is because the Lord himself will come down from heaven with the signal of a shout by the head angel and a blast on God’s trumpet. First, those who are dead in Christ will rise. Then, we who are living and still around will be taken up together with them in the clouds to meet with the Lord in the air. That way we will always be with the Lord. So encourage each other with these words.” ‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭4:13-18‬ ‭ With great sympathy, Armando and Melva Castañeda"
