Braulio C. Crespo, age 85, late of Hegewisch passed away on February 1, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Nereida Crespo. Loving father of Mary (Paul) Freeman, late Rhonda (Danny) Thomas, Carlos (Nancy) Crespo, Edward Gonzalez, Eddie Crespo, Jon Richards, Regina Crespo, David Crespo and Dorcas Crespo. Devoted grandfather of 13 and great-grandfather of 6. Loving partner of Virginia Piszczek. Braulio is survived by his devoted caregiver Angel “Billy” Cruz. Dear son of the late Regino and late Guillerma Crespo. Dearest brother of Martha (late Francisco), Benigno (Lydia), Victor (Rosa), Jose (Yolanda), Gracia (Luis), Carmen, late Ana (late Daniel) late Marcolina (late Arcadio), and late Julia (late Ramon). Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Longtime “Elder”and active member of Community Christian Church located on Chicago’s South East Side. Retired employee of U. S. Steel Southworks. Visitation Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services Thursday, February 6, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago, IL 60617. "Braulio, I grieve with family and friends because of the loss we feel here today however, I celebrate and Praise God because I know you are “home” a place prepared for you by Jesus Christ, Amen!
