Elizabeth Knezevich (nee Nyiri), age 96, lifelong of the East Side, passed away on January 5, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Sam. Loving mother of Mary (Al Galvan) Knezevich, Sam (Lena) Knezevich, Jr. and late Cecilia (late George) Czerwinski. Devoted grandmother of 5. Cherished great-grandmother of 8 and great-great grandmother of 4. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by many sisters and brothers. Visitation Thursday from 3-9 pm. Funeral Services Friday, January 10, 2020 at 9:30 am from the Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave., Chicago to Church of the Annunciata. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am.
