Laura Marie Gatzke, age 39, late of the East Side, passed away December 24, 2019. Devoted daughter of Philip and Judith (nee Smith) Gatzke. Loving sister of Charles Peter Gatzke and Elizabeth Gatzke. Dearest niece of David Smith. Laura Marie was preceded in death by her grandparents Richard and Dorothy Mae Smith & Art and Eunice Gatzke, uncles William Richard Smith, Wayne Gatzke and Leroy Gatzke and cousin Tammy Gatzke. Laura Marie was a graduate of Saint Xavier University with a Degree in Finance and was an employee of Webb Ford. She enjoyed crocheting and loved to travel. Visitation Sunday 1-8pm. Funeral services Monday, December 30, 2019 at 10:30am at Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave., Chicago. Private interment at Oakland Memory Lanes Cemetery.
