Dan S. Goldyn, (Ret. CPD), age 68, late of Hegewisch passed away on December 18, 2019. Beloved longtime companion and Fiancé of Joyce Johnson. Loving son of the late Chester and late Florence Goldyn. Dear brother of Joe (Diane) Goldyn and Patricia (Steven) Duray. Dearest uncle of Amy Goldyn, Jill (Gabriel) Rivers, Jeffery (Erin) Goldyn, Steven Duray and Kimberly (Chris) Zito. Cherished great-uncle of Reese, Catlin, Colin and Cara. Also survived by many cousins and dear friends. Dan was a retired patrolman with the Chicago Police Department. "Our family knew and loved Dan. What a bright light he was! While I haven’t personally met the entire extended Goldyn family, my heart goes out to my wonderful brother in law Joe Goldyn, his wife and my dear sister Diane Hart Goldyn, his sister Pat Goldyn, and his niece Amy Goldyn.
