"Dear Sue, I am so very sorry for your loss! I had intended to attend his service, however, I fractured a few vertebrae in my lower back. I had surgery on the day of the service. Jerry will always hold a special place in my heart. He was just like a dad to me and I could always go to him for advice. He will truly be missed and I know he is at peace now! I pray for strength for you during this difficult time and know that I love you both and I appreciate the friendship we share!"
