Ardell Rose “Della” Woitalewicz, age 86, late of Hammond formerly of East Side.  Passed away September 30, 2019.  Beloved wife of the late Gilbert.  Loving mother of Gerry (Julie) Woitalewicz, Robert (Donna Havlovick) Woitalewicz, Pam (Joe) Benkovich and the late Tim Woitalewicz.  Devoted grandmother of Stephanie, Megan, Jenna, Danielle and Shannon.  Cherished great-grandmother of 9.  Dearest sister of Mary Lou Kempe.  Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Ardell was a retired employee of Illinois Central Railroad and former employee of South Shore Hospital.  She was a longtime parishioner of St. George Church, an avid bingo player and enjoyed gambling.  Visitation Friday 2-8pm. Funeral Services Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 10:00am at the Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Avenue, Chicago, IL 60617.  Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.  773-731-2749.  www.elmwoodchapel.com.
