"Dearest OBORN Family: Please accept the heartfelt sympathy of me and my family on the loss of your wonderful father. My heart is heavy with your loss. Your father was an incredibly gentle man , and I will forever cherish the memories of his mixing medicine to calm my chronically infectious throat, or the patience he had when teaching a frightened teenager how to drive. What I will remember the most was how very much he loved and was devoted to your mother. I have never met a couple more dedicated to keeping their love alive, and I see that legacy in each of you. I know your family has known sorrow, and I have seen the strength you have shown. I hope you will learn on each other and surround yourself with that familial strength. Your father was ever proud of you all. God hold you in the palm of his hand. Love Aunt Patty, Allison and Gary Long"
