America "Med" Solis, age 51, late of Hammond, IN and formerly of South Chicago passed away on August 28, 2019. Loving mother of Jasmine Aguilera and Mateo Aguilera (Father-Francisco Aguilera). Beloved daughter of Socorro A. and the late Eduardo Solis. Dear sister of late Abigail Juliana, Eduardo (Antonett), Rudy (Laura), Julian (Rosalind), Elisa (Brian), Ruben (Rebecca), Dr. Christopher and Jandra. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Employee of School City of Hammond, IN- Washington Irving Elementary School. Special thanks to the Aguilera Family for their support and love. Everyone loved “Med”. Visitation Friday 2-9 p.m. Funeral services Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago, IL 60617.
