Paula R. Torres, (nee Reyes), age 86, late of Crown Point, IN and formerly of South Chicago.  Passed away July 24, 2019. Paula was born in Gary, IN on January 17, 1933 but spent most of her childhood living in Paracho, Michoacán, Mexico where fond memories remained with her throughout her lifetime. Beloved wife of the late Roberto G. Torres. Loving mother of Roberto Torres, Jr., Alfredo (Monica) Torres and the late Enrique Torres. Devoted grandmother of Anissa Nikki Torres, Roberto Torres III, Selina Torres, Anicia Torres, Diego Torres, Valerie Aguilar, Rickie Aguilar, Andrew Pelaez, and Matthew Torres. Cherished great-grandmother of Lorenzo and Samuel. Dear daughter of the late Marina Hernandez Verduzco Pascual and the late Alberto Seuveriano Pascual. Dearest sister of the late Martin Reyes, the late Abel (Guadalupe) Pascual, the late Rosa (late Manual) Barajas, Encarnacion (Maria) Pascual, and Jesus Alberto (Martha) Pascual.  Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Paula was strong-willed but noble.  She was a dedicated daughter who was hardworking and loved to sew.  Paula was always committed to her family but especially her “Hijo’s”.  Visitation Sunday, July 28, 2019 1-8 pm.  Funeral Services Monday, July 29, 2019 8:45 am from the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S.
