Mary Joan Sanchez, (nee Sheahan), late of the East Side and formerly of South Deering passed away on July 6, 2019. Beloved wife of Ernest Sanchez for 43 years. Loving mother of Ernie (Fiancé Amy Hirt) Sanchez and Stephen Sanchez. Devoted grandmother of Noah, Gianna and Justin. Dear daughter of the late Patrick and late Grace Sheahan. Dearest sister of late Patrick Sheahan and late Diane (Richard) Borowski. Fond sister-in-law of 5 brothers-in-law and 3 sisters-in-law. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday 2-9 p.m. Funeral Friday, July 12, 2019 at 9:15 a.m. from the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago, IL to St. Kevin Church.
