Gonzalo Diaz, age 98.  Late of St. John, Indiana formerly of South Chicago.  Passed away June 11, 2019.  Beloved husband of Maria for 73 years.  Loving father of Juan (Adalia) Diaz, Alicia (Rigoberto) Villasenor, Lourdes (Juan) Garza, Stella (Arturo) Padilla, Gonzalo (Sandra) Diaz, Theresa (Larry) Bustamante, Patricia Venegas, Irma Diaz, Rose (Charles) Martin, Gerardo Diaz, the late Jose (Ofelia) Diaz, and the late Lupita Diaz.  Cherished grandfather, great grandfather, and great great grandfather of many.  Gonzalo was a retired employee of Verson Allsteel.  Visitation Saturday, June 15, 2019 1-6 pm at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel 11300 W. 97th LN. (1/2 block west of US 41/Wicker Ave. at 97th LN.) St. John.  Interment Cementerio Municipal, Encarnacion de Diaz, Jalisco, Mexico.
