Passed away on June 9, 2019

Enrique F. Morales, age 89, late of Hegewisch and formerly of South Chicago passed away on June 9, 2019. Beloved husband of Lupe for 57 years. Loving father of Enrique P. Morales, Alex P. (Josefina Medina-Morales) Morales, Michael Morales and Hugo P. Morales. Devoted grandfather of Christian, Mateo, Angela, Alex Loren, Anthony, Daniel and Isabella Morales.  Loving father-in-law to Catalina Rivera and Miriam Rivera.  Dear son of the late Juan Morales and late Lucia Freye Morales. Dearest brother of late Carmen (late Carlos) Espinosa and late Juan Paul (Jacoba) Morales.  Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Enrique was a long-time active member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish on South Shore Drive in South Chicago where he was involved in many of the church organizations, especially Cub Scout Pack 3750 and Boy Scout Troop 750.  He was a self-employed cab driver for 45 years primarily serving downtown Chicago.  But always giving priority to those friends and neighbors of the Southeast Side, especially his fellow St. Michael Parishioners.  His cab #3198 will always be remembered with gratitude, pride, security and excellence. Visitation Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) until 6:00 p.m. at the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago.  Funeral services Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. Cemetery private. 773-731-2749.
