Jermaine R. Salazar

Passed away on May 14, 2019

In the evening hours of May 14, 2019, Jermaine Robert Salazar, son of Eliza Salazar and lifelong resident of Chicago's South Side, met an untimely and tragic death.  He had a passion for life, music and family, and an undying love for his three children; Anthony J. Salazar, Tatiana R. Salazar and Sofia L. Salazar. On any given day he could be found working on someone's car, playing his bass, enjoying time with his children or just sipping on a cold beer as he listened to his favorite band.  He lived life to the fullest and on his own terms.  He never missed an opportunity to jam with his band L.O.U.D.  Tragically he was taken from us too soon.  He is preceded in death by his cherished and adored grandparents Mariano and Manuela Salazar.  He leaves behind his loving siblings; Manuel and Ramon Salazar, and Roger, Lisa and John Guerrero.  His life will celebrated with a Memorial Visitation at Elmwood Chapel, 11200 S. Ewing Ave., Chicago on Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 1-8pm.
