Gerald W. Slomczewski, age 72, late of Crete, IL passed away on May 11, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Inez (nee Zatarski) for 51 years. Loving father of late Doreen Slomczewski, Carol (late Gus) Warnke, Mary (Patrick) Kelly, Edward John Slomczewski. Cherished grandfather of Grace Marie, Kaitlyn Ann, Amanda Patricia, Hunter Michael, Elizabeth Inez, Haley Ann and AJ Patrick. Gerald was a veteran of the U.S. Army Vietnam War. He will always be remembered for his big cigars. He was a hard worker and made sure he took care of all his family and provided for them.
